Real numbers, taken from the garment laid flat, not from a body.

How to pick

Measure a sweatshirt or tee you already like, flat, armpit to armpit, and match the chest number. If you are between two sizes, take the larger one. Each style has its own chart below, and they are not the same, so use the one for the style you are buying.

Chest is measured across the garment one inch below the armhole, so it is half the way round. Length is from the centre back neck seam straight down to the hem.

Tees · Bella+Canvas 3001

Sizes XS to 3XL. Unisex cut, light and soft: 4.2 oz cotton, pre-shrunk (Heather Dust is 52% cotton and 48% polyester). The fabric is a little sheer, most of all in pale colours. Length is measured from the highest point of the shoulder to the hem, so it is not the same method as the hoodie table.

Beanies

One size. A snug cuffed knit, 12 inches (30 cm) long, with a fold-up cuff. Hand wash. There is no chart because there is nothing to choose between.

Throws

One size. Fifty by sixty inches, which is 127 by 152 centimetres. Big enough for one person to disappear under and two to share badly. Soft silk-touch polyester, printed on one side with a plain white back, and machine washable.

Mugs

One size. Eleven ounces, which is about 325 millilitres. 3.8 inches tall and 3.2 inches across (9.6 by 8.2 cm).

Totes

One size. 16 by 14.5 inches, with a 5 inch base (40.6 by 36.8 by 12.7 cm). Two straps, 1 inch wide and 24.5 inches long (2.5 by 62.2 cm), so it goes over a shoulder. Organic cotton twill, rated to carry up to 30 lb (13.6 kg).

Pillows

One size, 18 by 18 inches. Laid flat it measures about 17.7 by 17.7 inches (45 by 45 cm) and about 5 inches (12.5 cm) deep. The insert is included. The case has a hidden zip and is machine washable; the insert is hand wash only. Each one is made by hand, so it can differ by up to an inch.

Prints

One size, 12 by 16 inches (30.5 by 40.6 cm), portrait. Thick matte paper, 189 g/m². Sent unframed, so it fits any standard 12 by 16 inch frame.

Two honest notes

Measurements come from the makers and can vary a little from piece to piece. Our print partner's guides allow up to 2 inches on tees and up to 1 inch on pillows.

We can replace a print fault, but we cannot take a garment back because the size was wrong, since each one is printed for you. Please measure before you order.
